Met up with Dom after work for dinner at Moxie's. I hadn't realized that they cut down so much of their old menu, so after much debate, I ordered the Penne Toscata, which includes Italian sausage and bacon in a creamy tomato, pesto, and white wine reduction. This pasta had so much potential, but it ended up being very lackluster. I'm not sure why I didn't love it; there was something about the flavours that didn't work very well together. I've definitely had way better pasta dishes for the same price. Then again, it's Moxie's, and they've always been mediocre at best.
